This are the castle's gardens, it was a long lovely day of crunchy leaves and golden hues, not to mention I packed the most delicious PB&J sandwiches.............. Everything was beyond perfect, days like this should last forever, sigh.

This is my fist encounter with a castle, well the ruin of a castle, but it was everything I imagined it'd be and more, as the big fantasy/history nerd that I am I couldn't help but feel part of something more beyond the typical tourist stroll. The castle has had a pretty rough life wars, nature and time have damaged the poor thing but that's part of the charm, I'd like to mention though the rude tourists that have damaged history for the sake of writing their "names + their sweethearts" in a perfect display of all things that I despise from humanity, carving your name on a piece of history will not make you part of it. Anyway, on happier subjects, here are a few snaps from that day, except the first one, that one was taken from the other side of the river during a hiking, forest adventure.

Halloween is long gone and quite over by now, all I see is a bunch of christmas decoration and snowflake paper cut outs everywhere (Not that I mind, since I love christmas). I couldn't care less and I wanted to post for a while now, so I'll just use my favourite holiday as an excuse for revisiting my blog. I spent the holiday in Germany, ate tons of candy (haribo bears), drank beer and visited a cemetery by accident... We thought it was a park and then I felt consumed by guilt, not because of religiousness but because mourning is such an universal pain and suffering, I felt like the most disrespectful mall goth, left the place as soon as I could and felt like crap for a while until black forest ham sandwiches cheered me up.
It was a day for karaoke-ing Rob Zombie, doing the Time Warp AGAIN and listening to Ghost on repeat. The day was perfect, guilt and everything.
